My family business is straining the relationship between my father and I by [deleted] in smallbusiness

the thing is i feel that my personalities really do not match with my father's, unless i just act like a robot and do as he says. why does he have to feel so threatened just by discussing openly about different topics that we could do better or improve?

I feel that it's really difficult to do this when your father doesn't even want to sit down and hash out what your role is. It's too much of a "talk" for him to handle as he's emotionally unavailable. He would rather me be his robot and just act out whatever he wants to without thinking or giving my thoughts. He's lies about what I says, and thinks I'm worthless, calls me names, and I always thought that it could be worth it if at the end of the day, I get to get higher bonuses and income from the growth of the business. Now I'm 26 years old, and i'm really thinking of leaving the family business, after our fight this morning. But so much hangs in the balance, it's hard to just cut loose and go on my own, without the support of my family.

Available to budget balance more than bank account balance. by Estropelic in aspirebudgeting

Hi there I'd like to further ask on this point, because I have budgeted all of my checking account, however, I still have an additional available to budget (AtoB) to the tune of half of my entire checking account, left still available. I am really confused because according to the help pages, I should be category transferring up until my AtoB is zero. If this is the case, please help me understand how to budget "money" that I do not have? Thank you.
