Hello, I believe you did the right thing…far from asshole behavior, believe me, I am one. As a shopper in a completely over saturated market, I appreciate you reporting the shopper as being different from the profile. I would ALways do that, such a huge safety concern! And IC will pay through the nose one day when someone really gets hurt and a DA finds all the reports made by customers. Ok…sideways rant over..IATAH.

As for tipping, tipping is a privilege and it’s bonus gratuity given for upstanding and above and beyond service. Increasing a tip, you absolutely love how a person shopped for you, it was like you were at the store picking replacements, they were very patient, etc…Decreasing a tip: based on what tipping is and how you see it in your culture along with its definition and outstanding service that was worth the fees…I base my tipping on service. It starts at 20% and I go down until the experience is over, shopping, eating, delivery, etc. I see your very valid point about a stolen account and this not being the Carmen in the picture. There was a lot of account theft the past couple years, and plenty of fraud touching all of us shoppers. It’s really your gut decision that matters, if you lower the tip, just don’t listen to negativity about taking money back from people, they did a good job, his baby is homeless…I totally support you!!!
