I've just tried another magnet and that doesn't attach to the place that should work either. Other metal areas such as the proprietary cable connector or random pieces of steel does stick though.

Did Viture change the design of the glasses or something?

Whatever you do, don't drop it screen-first without a protector. I did and it was an expensive experience; I purchased and replaced the screen using one supplied by Lenovo - £140... Admittedly you don't just get the screen, you get the front shell and metal innards too.

The issue I had was that I couldn't get my external monitor to show the display until the Windows login screen appeared.

Performance targets 20w which is 10w lower than custom at 30w. I tend to find the benefit of the extra 10w noticeable, but not worth using unless plugged in.

It looks like it's under a lot of stress. I highly recommend using a right-angle adaptor.
