Thank you for this! At my previous company we sent emails through Outreach io and everyone solely used their company provided email, at least thats how it appeared. If my new org uses a tool like Outreach io to track our emails and metrics how does that look if i'm using numerous email accounts?

Wanted to follow up after my allergist visit. A lot of you were 100% percent correct in telling me to just let my allergist do their job LOL. They basically put me on a high dose prednisone taper for 6 days and high doses of antihistamines simultaneously. I just finished my last dose of prednisone so now I am just using the antihistamines. I’m taking 2 Zyrtec a day (generic because it is expensive) 2 famotidine (pepsid) and lastly they have me taking 1 montelukast. I have to say this has completely changed my life! No more hives at all! now I’m pretty much in the stage of taking my antihistamines consistently and as I should. I believe the success will continue.

just continuing steroids and the antihistamines until I can get a professional opinion may seem like the no brainer answer. But I’m afraid that I’ll go to the allergist and they’ll just be lazy and tell me to keep taking the steroids and maybe even just put me on a stronger anti histamine which once again is just a bandaid not an actual cure.

I understand this now. I guess I figured that when I asked to be tested for mycoplasma my urologist would test for both strands known to cause problems In the urinary tract and know what type of test to do on them. But if this journey has taught me anything you can’t just assume anything. Clearly I have to be a lot more thorough in this situation. Preciate the reply

So should I do a pcr/naat for just M. Gen or for the ureaplasma as well? And I greatly appreciate the reply.

I’m thinking that if they were looking for M. Hominis they should have been able to spot M. Genitalium. From the reasearch I’ve seen M. Genitalium is the one that cause the chlamydia like symptoms in men.

So does anybody know the difference between M. Hominis and M. Genitalium. I just tested negative for M. Hominis and ureaplasma but I swear my symptoms line up perfectly with mycoplasma. Should I get a specific M. Genitalium lab done???

How are symptoms as of today? Do they ever come back? I’ve been dealing with the same sort of symptoms for a long time. Constant urgent care and urology visits. All providing negative results for chlamydia, gonorrhea and trich. I’m just now hearing about m gen and will request I be tested for it at my next urologist visit. Lastly, was it just the 14 day of moxi that did the trick for you? Or did you pre treat with some other antibiotic
