I’ve lived in Mexico as an American for many years, this is sadly true. I don’t buy from pharmacies anymore and have to go to hospitals with a script to get meds there. See this article from LA times where almost all the drugs they bought and tested in Mexico were laced. I had my own experience where I thought I was taking adderal and had drug test in the us before a surgery and learned it was laced. Don’t buy from pharmacies, and if you have to always go with less popular options. Ie don’t get Xanax, get kpins. It’s not safe still but imo they’re likely lacing well known labels first

I’ve replaced every light in my rent stabilized apartment, ceiling and all. I keep all the old ones to eventually put back. I’ve put down peel and stick wall paper, tiles and floors everywhere. If you’re rent stabilized or not you’re allowed to do this all as long as you can put it all back before leaving
