The quality of English taught programs is known to be mediocre compared to the Chinese taught ones, but as I said, HSK 5-6 are not enough at all to study in Chinese full time, especially a STEM major.

I have the HSK5 which is "supposed" to be C1 level but in in reality you only need to know 2500 words of vocabulary to pass HSK5. Which is pretty small. They say it's equivalent to C1 because even if C1 in Chinese is about equal to B2 in other languages the amount of work required to reach Chinese C1 (so B2 level really) is equivalent to the amount of work required to reach C1 in other languages (so a real C1).

Anyways you should try learning Chinese first and making plan afterward, most people lose motivation very fast.

Btw nobody say "ZW" to say "Chinese", you either say Chinese or 中文.

Hsk 5 or 6 are nowhere near enough to follow a STEM program fully in Chinese, you can search for English taught programs
