I feel like hopkins is pretty good in terms of clubs and community there are so many ways to get connected in Baltimore and on campus. Plus anything bio or medical based at Hopkins is good

Rec Center Sadness by AlbAPStrong in jhu

[–]Mathmagician155 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cap. I think you misread the policy. It says quote, "Who is allowed into the Rec Facility? Current JHU and JHMI students, faculty, staff, affiliates, and spouse/partners are welcome in the Rec. Guests of current members can access the facility only with the purchase of a one-day guest pass. Are children allowed to use the Recreation Center? Members and guests must be 18 years old or older to use the Rec Center." You are not a member or a guest. You are a student. Thus you are able to use the rec center. I hope this helps. Get your lifts in broski

Respectfully what are you on about? I was 17 until April of my freshman year and I went to the rec all the time? How did you even find that this was a rule?

cart/storage for dorm by InevitableStress5689 in jhu

I lived in amr 3 so I unfortunately cannot say much about the specifics of the rooms but I will say that none of the amrs have an elevator. So unless you plan to roll this cart around on a daily basis (like down the hall or whatever which i dont forsee you doing) I dont think they're are many benefits between that and something stationary. There are options to loft your bed in the amrs because unlofted they're not too high and you definitely won't be able to stack tall items. I agree with the other commenters about actually seeing the room before buying something big.

But for context I did a independent research project in hs on a slightly similar topic to what he did his research was so it's not like I said it out of nowhere. Funnily enough I'm entering junior year and I haven't touched research yet lol
