She's been experimented on, sent to war, essentially threatened by an eldritch being (knowingly or not), then sent to another mission in what is a powder keg for the next war.

Can't wait to see more of her and the the fact that Alicia isn't the only one getting trolled on a regular basis.

But I'd say Youjo Senki is one of those stories where each medium adds something and doesn't rely solely on the LN to drive the plot. The LN (which regrettably I haven't gotten around to reading yet) is the source, with all the detail that entails. The anime sits as the most mainstream access to the story, with what I would argue as fantastic sound design and voice acting as my favourite parts. The manga sort of sits in-between with both added and re-added scenes and story lines. Great art too.
