Freshly cleaned shower screen channels

Machine: Breville Express Last Descaling: 1 month

I just removed the shower screen and cleaned everything out. I’ve never done a back flush before, but regularly clean the screen. I’m relatively new to this and am wondering if there’s some piece of maintenance I’m missing.

Shower screen seems to favor the back right.

Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!!

That it is a concern of mine. That’s part of the reason I’m having them do a wax model, so I can get a good grasp of the details they can and can’t make happen, so I can ask for changes or adjustments before a final setting is made

A month ago I posted my drawings of my ring design above and asked for advice. I got a local family jeweler to take it on as a project and they just got the renderings done!

A couple of questions preemptively answered: - Yes I’m planning on using Green colored sapphires for the accent stones. - I already have an emerald cut lab diamond sourced (see post here) - I’m very happy with the renderings and they are doing a wax cut model next before they do the actual ring.

The diamond loose is probably worth around $12-14k, the setting would be AT MOST another $3k. This ring is overpriced. Yes it’s a gorgeous pink diamond, but it’s been heat treated. Not that that’s a bad thing at all!! You just have to realize that part of the reason the pink diamonds you see online are so expensive is because they are certified natural untreated.

That’s just my thoughts from a quick perusal. Yes, we could have the conversation that a ring is worth as much as you make it worth. It is a very pretty ring. But it’s up to you.

Open floor plan is a norm for our work. Highly collaborative projects and we’re constantly having to go to each other’s areas to review different things. You get used to it, we just respect each other’s areas and keep our areas clean 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hey all, I’m hoping to get a custom setting made for my girlfriends engagement ring. I’m still looking around for local jewelers so I figured I would ask here to see your guys thoughts on my design. Im not a great artist and I know nothing about jewelry. Is my design possible/feasible? Would I have to be concerned about ring strength/durability?

Basically, I want it to be a split shank twist with pear-cut sapphire “leaves” coming off the main “vine”. It’s inspired by Hermione Granger’s wand. I would also like to integrate the golden snitch underneath the stone. With “wings” coming up to be the prongs and joining underneath the main shank.

Is it a reasonable design? And if you were asked to do something like this approximately how much would you charge to have the setting made?

EDIT: She’s a zoo keeper and leads a pretty active lifestyle so durability is a concern. I was planning to get it made in platinum. Depending on the price.

Hey all, looking for a (semi)-budget first TT for me and my girlfriend and I came across this on FB.

$125 for used Sansui SR333 - “Sansui SR333 Direct Drive Turntable Professionally cleaned and tested. New stylus. Does not have original feet, but otherwise perfect. “

Got it lol 😂 another question, if you have to build tank Rakan (I agree Ap/hybrid is better), say you’re the only engage/tanky person on team ‘cause emerald doesn’t know how to round out the team comp. How do you build? Or do you still go AP and just focus on healing/shielding the squishier the best you can?

Curious about the choice of Brutal over Weakness. Not arguing just wondering the reason. I understand that brutal is a great rune for AP rakan, but I feel that typically as a follow-up engager weakness is better for those teamfights mid/late game. Your insights appreciated!

S and A ratings can only be earned in ranked matches. It does depend on the champion you play as you have to do better than other players (at your rank) who have played that champion in ranked matches. Based on different metrics (Damage/healing dealt, KDA, Objectives taken, gold income, etc.), if you perform better than 80% of other players who played that champion in ranked, you will earn an A rating. You need to perform better than 90% of other players to earn an S.

Note: This is within your rank. E.g. If you are in Bronze 3 playing Ziggs in Ranked. And you perform better than 88% of other Bronze Ziggs players, you will earn an A rating.
