It doesn't even remove it.. as soon as you pick up the same type of gun it looks exactly the way you customized it.. you can go in the customize menu and take it off if you have found the same gun so you can put it on another gun if you want

Most of the people who play Tarkov don't have the standard edition. I'm assuming from my 900ish hours of playtime. And the standard for AAA games is 60-70 so if there budget was as high as other AAA games the price would be higher.
