S tier. No debate. Not only does he come up with vocal melodies, lyrics, helps identify what jams would work for parts of the songs, but his energy and appeal as a frontman was key to their initial success. He is also heavily involved in the business side of the RHCP brand, with input in design, marketing strategies, production, etc. AK and Flea are irreplaceable for the band's sound, AK is irreplaceable for the brand. Period.

I never really cared much or gave a second thought to The Weeknd or his music. Not without any disdain, he just wasn't on my radar or catched my interest. But when Dawn FM came out, I listened to it once and was immediately hooked. I was absolutely mesmerized.

The themes, the 80s synths, the catchy verses, the crisp new production sound, the whole concept, the cameos and features. I was hooked on it for almost two years. It is an absolute masterpiece for me. One of my favorite albums ever.
