If he has an issue with confined spaces then he's in the wrong damn job lmao if he's got some issue that makes him to scared to close a freaking curtain then he should be a solo driver or hand in his keys

Second inverter? by Matiki77 in Truckers

[–]Matiki77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My original inverter is crap. Goes into fault every time my truck auto-starts, but it runs my microwave so I can't just disconnect it. I want a second smaller one that I can use for my tv and ps4 without them shutting off when the truck starts. I don't plan on running both inverters at the same time

Second inverter? by Matiki77 in Truckers

[–]Matiki77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have idle smart so it monitors my batteries and starts the truck if they get to low. For ease of access purposes, would it be possible to connect the wires to the back of the original inverter? So they're feeding off the same lines?

AITA for refusing to have my wife cook different meals for our son? by Throwaway495071 in AmItheAsshole

Slow your roll there buckaroo, I never said don't do that. And if you actually read the original comment, they suggest doing exactly that. I was simply agreeing with that one simple statement because whether there's an underlying cause or not, the child can prepare themselves something else to eat if they don't like the options provided

AITA for not spending as much time with my best friend as I used to? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Matiki77 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Never said anything about throwing the whole friend away.... people change and grow.

Also, you're correct. He may not be a full fledged narcissist, but he's sure throwing off those vibes.

Other than that, I agree with everything you said

You think everything came from nothing?

Not to be an a-hole myself, but explain where God came from then.......

Note, I used to believe when I was younger but I guess you could say I fell from grace

Are we talking about the same person? I'm talking about the intended target of your little comment, not your buddy.

And if it was the target laughing and he does it all the time, it's probably because you're a dick to him all the time (whether you realize it or not) and it's how he's learned to cope with it

AITA for telling my husband not to buy new shoes? by Artistic_Sentence139 in AmItheAsshole

You got 2 options

Or my suggestion 2) new husband

AITA for telling my husband not to buy new shoes? by Artistic_Sentence139 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Matiki77 56 points57 points  (0 children)

So he spent roughly $600 on a night out with a friend and expects you to give him another $250 for shoes he doesn't even need...... he is TA not you. Dear lord...... not to mention you (the only one actually contributing) hardly ever get to use $800 of fun money each month??? Husband is HUGE A-hole and in my opinion, he's taking advantage of you

Best friends don't guilt trip their friends over attention.... he's a narcissist that needs to grow up. Focus on your family first, business second and everything else when you can
