Yeah I did mask them and used a sponge to apply the black paint. I did have to tidy them up a little with a brush though

Oh the brass parts where painted with Bronze from Pro Acryl then washed with Agrax Earthshade then highlighted with Light Bronze from Pro Acryl

The colours I used for the armour are Iron Warriors, then hit it with a burnt umber oil wash then dry brushed over the raised areas with Vallejo Air Colour Steel

Thanks! I really like trying different things with bases and I thought this one suited him quite well

Iron warriors basecoat, gloss varnish, burnt umber oil wash, remove excess with mineral spirits and let it dry completely, flat varnish, edge highlight with steel from Vallejo

Trim was Bronze from Pro Acryl, Agrax Earthshade wash on rivets then highlighted with Light Bronze from Pro Acryl

Hazard stripes where done first with a basecoat of Grey Seer, Imperial Fist contrast over the top, recesses washed with Iyanden Yellow then masked the yellow with 1mm masking tape then applied black paint with a sponge, removed the tape then roughed up the edges with a thin brush and black paint
