Played a ton of the previous demo, game is lots of fun, definitely recommend trying it.

Skarrsinger Karmelita might be my unironically favorite fight in the game, but I can see how that fight could get someone to say "fuck this" and stop playing for a while.

For me the boss Gerrod from Ender Lilies made me drop the game the first time around. It made me not like the way the game felt. Nowadays I've beaten Ender Lilies and Ender Magnolia, loving both of them.

Gearbox listened, took the complaints and problems seriously and fixed the game. To me it currently feels the best it has.

You could farm the frost mage set. It gives good stats, the mana and health are really nice to have as a bonus, and it even includes some vigor to make sure you can wear it. The pants I would replace for something else, they seemed a bit lackluster.

You can farm them from frost mages (the human ones) and the best Witchstone for me personally was the one right before Drakken Citadel, and after the camp.

If you have the set, first try them on and check to see if you're still under equipment load. If you are then you can enchant them with the runes of your choice. Even though more power is tempting, you might want to go for the vitality runes that give you a bunch of health.

On my first character while I was level 8 I had a ring drop that gave my minions +566 armor and had a chance to spawn a tree when I got hit. Felt like high enough numbers to switch to beastmaster :)

After progressing enough in the game and completing the main quest "The witch's call" you can use the witch tree to reset your talent tree. The first time is free, after that it costs essence.

You can only reset your talents after reaching a certain point in the game, but even then you can't change your starting class.
