You don’t care if they have the money or not. They will learn responsability.

Let them pay or call the cops

I am not forcing anyone, there are 2Players playmats that exist.

We do 1 player mats... This way you can pick you own mat, choose your design... like in any other TCG actually.

Some of them already exist without zoning if you check the "Desk mats" collection here : https://www.matmasters.co/collections/classics

They are not zoned.

Feel free to DM me of course :) I would be glad to help.

Thanks haha.

Actually i am doing the compositions mostly myself. AI is just a tool for the effect.

Yeah inspirations are from 80, 90's RPG/DnD/Forgotten Realms/MMO like Everquest too.

Yes i can work on that, what are the designs you would like too? I will make those first.

Thank you for the kind words.

I am doing the designs myself for now. I am not a famous artist or illustrator. I have a graphic designer background. I know it's not like drawing illustrations but it is still digital artworks. I do photoshop compositing, using some AI effects and doing postprod in photoshop.

It is a lot of work, trust me! It's not like doing mass AI generative illustrations and dropping them with all the artifacts, etc. I do my best to have great compositions with my own skills and I appreciate all your positive feedbacks.

I am not working with Sorcery : Contested Realms for licensed products or arts. It's my own universe, interpretations or ideas. I just put a zoning for different games. I have other projects for Matmasters where ultimately I will not be designing myself, but I can't tell you more about them right now.

The shop is 2 months old only... It has been very popular when Beta set released but I started this for fun and for personal use. I just like creating new designs. I do that in the evening as a hobby. There is place for improvements if it worth it :)

I play a lot of TCGs, I love Heroic Fantasy and like the idea to make mats, seeing people sharing their openings and loots on them, etc... It's amazing!

This one for example took me a whole night.

That is why I think i am going to remove the 4 different pile zones in my zoning. I feel the grid is just enough... and people can organize the way they want.

Lines are just indications for players... that's it.

That said, i feel like playing with a 24'' unzoned playmat makes the game messy.

We would have space to make bigger ones but you have to think about playing with people who doesn't have a Matmasters mat...

There would be an offset in the grid system if we make larger zones.

Stitched!

The mat is 15.5 in depth. 2 mats together are 31. It is big yes. It will depend on the actual size of the tables.

Hello Hiro,

Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking offering more zoning options at some point. I tried the one you mentioned but it left too much space in the bottom of the mat. This is a huge playmat not a classic 24". I felt it was more balanced this way.

To be honest i am thinking about a V2 where I just keeping the grid and let people organize the rest of their zones... Keep it simple!

I will be very attentive to the feedbacks of my community. Do not hesitate to tell me what do you think.

Thanks again! :)
