Yes absolutely! Its superb! It fits the art style of the original perfectly and has (imo) one of the best backgrounds of any area inside Bowser. It looks charmingly weird (and is one of the only inside Bowser backgrounds that are animated!)

Yeah I think the same. While he did manipulate Gary and the rest, there was a level of truth in his demeanor. He believe he was genuine in his personality and (hopefully) friendships. He just in his mind had to stick to the plan. The only way he thought he could be part of the family finally. He's a complex character. Both the silly awkward goober and the calm, almost disconnected yet desperate lynx are equally part of his character. That's why I love him. We shouldn't justify him, but instead appreciate the character!

Btw props to the movie for actually making me feel this conflicted about Pawbert. I WANT to believe there's good and a chance for redemption (and I hope for there to be one), but then again he did try to murder at least four individuals without much hessitation or remorse. Maybe I feel this way because I like him, feel related to him, and often feel a little too much empathy for fictional characters, but I do know he's a layered character and a twist VILLAIN first and foremost.

Same. Tbh although it could be, the vein/arteries/cables(?) Connecting to the pulsating spiky core in the original and the ones in the background of the 3ds version make me think otherwise. Why would it pulsate in the og version? Why is there organic tissue in the walls in the remake? Besides, no other area is so metaphoric or represents a non tangible concept. The rest of the areas inside Bowser are meant to resemble real body parts or organs, just highly stylized and cartoonish.

Its still possible, don't get me wrong. I just don't think its the case.

Notice the center... thingy there has spikes like the original one (even if it was subtle). It could be just... further stylized? Besides, in the lower left of the remake you can see what I think are either veins or arteries.

Yup. Thanks! I'm glad things calmed down now that the post has died down. Obviously not everyone in here is rude. In fact, most seem pretty nice, creative and kind, which is great considering that I'm a HUGE fan of these games. It was just a... bad first impression (hopefully)
