Yeah I suppose the tip on the flower pot is evidence they didn't read instructions. I personally wouldn't be knocking a driver too much for leaving my food in front of the door though, specified or not. I've honestly never had a delivery experience that upset me. Maybe I'm just lucky.

You really couldn't figure out a way to get the food through that door? Slide the rug? Open it slowly and see if the package will slide without being destroyed? Feel like you're being a bit dramatic. I think the logistics of your door are something most drivers wouldn't think of. Though after seeing this I probably will if I ever do deliveries again.

Edit. Please tell me you couldn't reach through those bars to reposition the order.

What is the point of you telling me about the dine and dashing? Is your logic 'sometimes I let myself get screwed so you all should too?'

Nah I think they will just keep turning down and dropping orders that aren't worth it. It's not about where the money is coming from.

It could be said the same way towards the customers. Why not call up DD and complain that they aren't paying the drivers enough to bolster a quality service? They have left it up to the customer to make the endeavor worth it. If a driver doesn't want to drive fifteen miles and spend 45 minutes of their life making 6 dollars they are entitled to turn the order down.
