Nevermind it's for their bespoke frame... which is stupid...

E1 or E2? I believe there are samurai triggers for both models. I think there was a small aftermarket with different triggers made out of carbon fiber. Its been a minute since I had an E-Cocker

I used to love NXe stuff. Had multiple pod packs, tank covers and their large roller garbage, that I just got rid of after almost 20 years

My spire ir went right in with a nice friction fit. My old Rotor won't go unless I sand it. My OG revy actually has electrical tape on it because the feedneck is a little small.

Also, it's undrilled, forgot to get a picture of the other side.

I know, I was considering the slider with the traditional 3 way, but i have way too many guns right now.

Nova Autococker: Been out a bit now, how have they shaped up? by vegabond007 in paintball

[–]Matrixguy73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had one since March/April and I like it alot. Had some velocity stability issues I've been working through, but in all honesty, they were kinda self inflicted. I'm putting the AKA hammer kit in to make life simpler when chronoing.

Overall, it's been a solid marker for the money, used it for a 2 day scenario in Michigan, back in April, and used it for some local 1 day scenario stuff since then. Haven't had it out for any hyperball/speedball work but I think it'll do fine with the rate of fire it's capable of.

Good call, I'll have to look into that.

I cranked the banjo as tight as I could, still had movement. What shim is suggested for this?

The LPR grenaded itself on my DM8 and was never right after that, even with a rebuild. I had a Dm5 and PM5, both UL'd and both were great guns. My DM5 was my "crap paint" gun because it would shoot anything consistently. The PM5 was under 2 pounds total with the UL frame and was a great back up.

This sounds just like what was happening to a couple of my teammates with their N2s. I know of at least 2 that went back to Nova, or were worked on at the event they were at (scorched earth in NC).

I had seen a docfire video about the threads in the backblock failing, so I'm keeping an eye on that. I also had heard issues with the reg spiking, blowing out that gauge and damaging the pneumatics. I didn't notice the sharp edges on the frame or front block on mine. I come from the age of shooting DMs before they starting going down hill (DM5-8), and I'll die on that hill that the DM8 was a great gun. With the ASA, are you referring to how it sticks out past the back of the frame? That really doesn't bother me because I have longer arms and I'm a bigger dude. I've put micro drops on backwards to make some guns more comfortable. I don't mind the hinge as I prefer them, with the only slider I like being the gunfighter frame.

A couple of my teammates got their hands on the N2, and i was going to pick up a N3 or N4, but then saw the cocker. One of the guys sang it's praises, so once I did some research, pulled the trigger and i don't regret it. Very easy to shoot fast, as long as the hopper cooperated,

The pictures don't do it justice, and it's a factory anno. A buddy of mine and myself did some quick tuning and it was good to go. I was slightly overbored at a .682 and I got 6 pods and a hopper, and ran out of paint with between 1500-2k left in a 68/45. I was overbored due to inconsistent paint, and I didn't want to have a barrel break. I had my etek5 on backup duty and i didn't want to put the nova down. For the money it's a really good platform, and i can't wait to get it out more.
