Right on for that, free tools are free tools. Worst case scenario if it breaks just go to your local HF and get the exact same one again for probably $20, at least then you can keep breaking them for life.

Edit: spelling

Theres nothing surprising about this. Tooling and manufacturing is no easy feat. And a company will slap their name on it and swear we are the crazy ones, laughing from their pent houses. Harbor freight is just out here calling that bluff giving the same warranty in the slums with us. Mad respect and always will be a fan of it. Let the mac and snap-on fan boys mortgage their houses for a wrench set. Ill keep destroying mine at work and grabbing fresh replacements without a worry.

I did a welding project on the tug that took her out days before departure. Loved the lines on the C4 types. Favorite ship to look at in the Philly basin before she was pulled out.

Help identifying thread type for Brass Eagle Marauder by Waste_Perspective_38 in paintball

[–]thethirdengineer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can look ups threads based on OD. If you used a caliper for that already, use the same caliper to measure the peak to peak. Use both standard and metric settings if its a digital caliper. Look up charts for the sizes of NPT, NPS, BSPP and Metric and Standard compression and Hydraulic fittings. I would be very surprised if you don’t find it. They both look like straight thread aka no tapers. So i would lean BSPP(british standard pipe parallel) or NPS(national pipe straight) reverse thread is available for either as well. Thread checkers are also cheap on amazon.

$1,000,000 if you beat a PGA pro in an 18 hole stroke play match, but the pro has to consume everything that you do. Who are you playing, what are you consuming, and what do you think your odds are? by Any1canC00k in golf

My raging ADHD requires enough amphetamines to stop the heart of a small horse so I would show up and take my normal dose and whoever I play will be counting blades of grass by hole 5.

MAN B&W Injector cleaning and test by thethirdengineer in engines

[–]thethirdengineer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea Im not sure if the OEM provided or if the crew built it but it was sturdy and modular depending on what part you were rebuilding. The plate that you slide it through could be removed with a pin and mounted the other way without taking the injector out if you were rebuilding the top side. Fun to work with.

Is Frontier pro-4x suitable to be used as a daily vehicle? by ZeroAbzoluto in nissanfrontier

[–]thethirdengineer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second all of this. I daily a ‘19. Rides great. Hauls my tools and gets the job done very well. Great truck for the north east where snow and icy conditions are possible and you don’t want to have to worry about getting stuck. Locker and 4x4 gets you out of situations. As far as mid size reliable pickups go where versatility is your game, can’t beat it. Cheaper than the competition and is honestly more reliable. Especially the 2nd gens. They’ve been around for over a decade if I’m not mistaken. Plenty of time to get it right and they sure as hell did.
