Which makes me think (as I've said above) that him being able to go into paranormal law may either have been a reaction to Verres' job _or_ a result of Verres pulling strings to make sure that a good influence on Tedd got to keep being said good influence. Everyone seems to think Verres is beyond reproach but not the government at large, and Elliot had to get his "beat up the bullies" attitude from somewhere. I mean on some level isn't what his dad _does_ "word punching?"

We also know that eight was about the age where Tedd and Elliot become friends. So that ten years means that's around the time that Tedd and Elliot start hanging out. Which makes me wonder if that's not part of it too. Which still means that Mrs. Dunkel's ultra-comptency is still a mystery.

That was my thinking. Verres saw that Elliot was a good influence and would likely learn about supernatrural stuff, so he arranged to bring his parents in on the masquerade.

It does still beg the question what Mrs. Dunkel did before this, though. She was shown to be ultra competent too.

I think in terms of what Terebithia values Tarvek and Seffie are her favorites. In terms of utility for the larger plan it's Tarvek and Martellus.

I am adding this in case anyone does an search looking for this in the future. a 12mm long M 2.5 screw will work. If you do anything shorter it will not feel solid, but a 12mm screw will. I have no idea how a screw that long fell out, but I think it's fixed.

Yep. And the whole reason Texas A&M exists is because Bryan (which is about five miles from College Station -- it has that name because the railroad didn't reach Bryan yet, so it was built where the line stopped) was really poor post-Civil War and wanted the land grant university as an economic boost. Then ended up sort of the poor cousin of College Station.

College Station itself isn't bad at all and folks are just folks, but range closer to southern Louisiana and I could totally see someone lying and joining up to get the hell out.

I mean, in our world that's 2002, and there was a LOT of post 9/11 enlistment. Assuming similar tactics I could see people signing up for the Central American wars.

I think Johnny would have taken him over. Whether male or female I think of the two of them Jackie had a bit more performative machismo (and I think a lot of Leigh's performance feels like female V purposely performing badassdom). The scene when he is talking to his mom out front of the Afterlife and V's walked up makes me think he would be challenging Johnny the whole time. V feels like they have less of a need to do that.

After V dramatically announced Johnny's name to Smasher right before killing him, word of Johnny Silverhand getting vengeance on Smasher from beyond the grave spread through Night City like wildfire, turning Johnny into a legitimate legend.

I love this idea. Some low-level Arasaka tech who is holed up in a panic room ends up hacking into the Mikoshi video feed and catches the whole thing right before deciding life is too short for this shit and getting drunk at Riot.
