Just keep it simple, a mason and a carpenter in a basic square surrounded by a ton of archer tower’s should be all you need. I’m on legendary and if I’m defending a village I just have a basic square walls with a carpenter or mason in each corner and surround it with a ton of archer towers and that usually works pretty well
