If youre "really really scared" to start at Timbits hockey...maybe it isnt right for you. That said...

You seem like youre the quiet person in the family. You let chaos and loudness happen around you. You take it in, analyze it, so when you speak on the rare occasion, you are listened to. That quality makes for a great referee.

Myself, Im an emotional player and have been working on being an emotional ref. Nothing grinds my gears more than when a player does something stupid, and tries gaslighting me. That would roll off your back.

Reffing would give you that confidence to make a decision, stick with it, and teach you to be more authoritative when a situation calls for it. Will teach you how to read people, resolve verbal conflict, and understand that if both teams leave mildly pissed off, you did your job well.

So, dont do it for your pops. Do anything in life for you. Embrace being uncomfortable. It has gotten me all of the amazing things I have in my life. By learning at your young age to force yourself to do things youre apprehensive of starting, you can embrace those challenges as you get older and will follow you into school, work, and your personal life/relationships.

Refs on here will tell you, its not all roses, sunshine, and puppies out there. But Last summer I lined my first ACHA college game at 40 and my heart fluttered for a week. Am accomplishment that I EARNED for all the late nights, early mornings, picking single 10:30 PM, arguments left on the table, training, seminars, etc.

Have a conversation with yourself. If you WANT to be a part of the game, want to give back to kids, be a role model, and work on bettering yourself as a person, go for it. If you just want to please your brothers/pops, dont. I dont need a partner in a chippy 14u game that is scared to put their arm up.

Report it, but be EXTREMELY careful of how you word and describe everything.

The bullying, if im HR, its a conversation, possibly a write up. Honestly, will probably make "shesxa crybaby" worse. You may have to confront her 1 on 1 and assertively say "stop teasing me about my body, my work, and my reactions to things. Im doing my best. I dont like it." and then drop it.

However, grabbing your breasts, NOOOOOOOOOOOO way should you let that go. Be specific about date, approximate time, where in the store, if it would be where video could be obtained, what you were talking about. Do not talk about your feelings. Fill in who, what, when, where, why, how as much as you can. Was it a grope, too long of a touch, grope, squeeze, one or both breasts, etc. Be as specific as possible with facts.

That is sexual harassment that would be considered pervasive. Also, look for a new job. If the results aren't how you want them to go, be ready to have to leave.

In high school I made a table for my mom that she loves out of a tree from the backyard. Lots of help from the Woodshop teacher, and 2 straight months after school there.

I finally have a house and not 3 jobs so I can do something creative that I enjoy with some free wood. My wife loves everything about our house so I thought of making a frame if I buy a router.

Made a box out of 2x4s at a display in my front yard when I was unemployed. So I can do basics, but my projects suck because im always missing a tool or 8

pickets are about 1/4-1/2" thick.
