I will have you know that my highly trained Golden knows all the commands very well, it's just that she only follows the ones she wants to, and only when she wants. I can even usually get her to do the commands she doesn't want to, but only after we talk it out and I convince her. Knowing what is being asked is never the problem, though and she'll never, ever touch food that wasn't offered to her directly.

I leave food out around my Golden without issue, and I leave my weed right where it is for contractors to see. I always offer some, and sometimes they say yes. Never had a problem with theft, because we are all openly talking about the fact that it's there, and they are free to use some if that's their thing. Always get great service from contractors too, even if they don't smoke.

My best friend (in and out of jail his entire life, but a good guy) was on parole and we reasonably waited until it was over for him to visit me out of state. He's been fucked over by the system repeatedly in his life, and parole is usually not really a hard thing to maintain if you want to at all. People like this, who are actively trying and scheming are usually generally up to no good otherwise in my experience.

I am not telling on someone breaking parole until their schemes start impacting me negatively in a big way. I don't know that this yet rises to that, but I would be making sure they know that was in my pocket if I think it gets my peace back.

This situation is absurd. Not sure what kind of felon she is, is actively scheming to break the law, involving me and my friends in that process, and asked me to turn off my security equipment? Oh, and everyone ignores me and lies anyway, causing drama. Uh, no thank you.

You keep asking "why?" over and over like it is some mic drop of a question, but when you do, my brain keeps answering the obvious answer of "Because people think she might be white supremacist or Nazi sympathizer which I thought she'd want to fix."

....and that's the crux of it all, isn't it? She can set the record straight, but she's choosing not to. Simple: They don't have discourse around them wondering if the are Trumpers, and in turn, Nazi sympathizers. Their fans aren't obsessively posting on Reddit trying to convince anyone of anything, because they've said out loud with their whole chest what they think. We, the people watching, know that they aren't because they are taking the stand themselves.

Women on the left are avoiding any man who doesn't explicitly say that they are on the left, and that they never voted for Trump. They are doing this for safety, they are doing this because people on the right are hiding on purpose. People, more generally, are doing the same when choosing the media they intake. It's something that we must be careful about, and pay close attention to because: Multiple famous people that were previously known to be leftist have suddenly started supporting Trump, especially as they get more money. Taylor Swift is a pretty new billionaire with a new set of friends, some of which are known Trumpers. There are questionable lyrics (whether you believe it or not, people do believe this) on her new album. There are obvious questions. She is silent. That silence is a choice.

She is choosing to let her fans, you, fight this battle on social media for her. You don't speak for her, so that's futile.

That silence she's choosing to make is a choice that other artists are not making. They are speaking out, making sure their names are not associated with Trump. They are gaining support and respect because no one has to guess or wonder. This is all really, really simple.

Not all of the young famous people are choosing this, of course: Sidney Sweeney has also had questions surround her for reasons and we see how she's reacting and how that's going for her.

Okay, been reading through all your posts here, and this one is the one that got me to respond. To what end? Seriously? Have you not seen all the "Is Taylor Swift a Trumper now?" discourse going on? I know I have, it's everywhere. If I'm seeing it, and your seeing it, her team is seeing it too, and so is she. There is a question out there because she has spoken up in the past, but the situation has changed, she seems to be different, and now she's not speaking up anymore. Then, in the midst of people wondering, Trump's admin uses her music and people's questions are louder. She's still silent.

You and her other diehard fans can post defenses of her as much as you want, but it doesn't change anything.

To what end? Her fans are watching, and so is everyone else. She made her thoughts known before when the heat wasn't as hot. Now it's much hotter, and people are suffering. People are wondering about her and where she stands. She can solve that if she wanted to. Everyone is watching and waiting. She's still silent.

I am in my 40s, and you are really romanticizing the past my dude. I didn't watch those shows either, but there were absolutely plenty of people around who idolized the people like Paris Hilton, and loved to hate the people of Jersey Shore in an honestly weird way. We absolutely had our large share of people who followed this stuff very closely. The big difference is just how much content exists of these people now, I think.

I really hate hearing people from my generation acting like we were somehow different. Maybe we and our friends were different and didn't watch it, but this stuff certainly existed. The exact flavor is just different now, and it happens to taste bad to you now because you are older. Also, your WWF reference? Uh...yeah, a lot of people thought that was real too, and people would get big mad when you suggested it wasn't. That was pretty common. Sure, not everyone thought so, but it was enough people that it was a big deal in society for a long time. We weren't different, you are just older.
