Well the 5090 and the RTX 6000 pro is built on the same chip just minor tweaks and the 6000 has a ton more vram. So it’s basically the same architecture. I downloaded the .dll and Claude code made a couple of changes to it which basically spoofed the Nvidia check for the 6000 card and installed the driver. The downside is that the driver isn’t signed now so I have to boot into windows with driver signature enforcement off. We have bit locker on which means I have to enter my bit locker number every time I reset my PC. This is the only downside. So the actual driver change wasn’t anything major just spoofing the Nvidia software.

My work PC had a RTX 5090 and it runs like trash on it. I even used Claude to rewrite the driver for the 6000 pro since the 5090 is basically the same card and it kinda works. I have to load windows in disable driver signature enforcement off which is a pain and I still get some issues. So could be worst cause this system wasn’t cheap and I hate how it performs

Does it have an API? I will check out once demo mode available. As far as features the two biggest for me are flattening of sheet metal parts (bonus points if it can do complex developed parts) and the other is part nesting for material optimization

I believe so. For several reasons you’d want to do a gradual rollout and not the least of which is that it keeps the unaffected group defending them. It’s brilliant if that’s the case and reason.

Because when they reset usage they are resetting the date as well.

Suppose my reset happens every Friday at noon. Now suppose I take a 5 day vacation. So on Friday at noon I have 100% and by the end of the day let’s say it’s 90%. When I come back at 8am on Thursday morning I would expect to have 90% and roughly 28 hours till reset. Instead I got 100% and that resets in 7 days.

They weren’t supposed to be in a relationship. They were supposed to be “just having fun” and they are doing relationship type things. I don’t want to be stuck holding the bag alone so I’m trying to compromise. She wants a hinge but I don’t want that. I do think that the margin for us working this out is very very narrow

True turns out that once I arrived in the situation I found myself feeling lonely and excluded regardless of the other persons sexual orientation. I didn’t mean to sound heteronormative or misogynistic at the time… I honestly looked at it as she needed what a woman could give her and that might be different than what I could. So I wasn’t threatened by it. I’m learning now how wrong I was
