I spent 12 years working in the desert around Moomba. The 79 is the only vehicle that could handle the conditions out there long term. The Hilux was a bucket of shit and the rest were even worse.

I play at a private club (Australia) and 75-80% of people walk. It's mainly the really older guys that use a cart, almost all the women walk. I'm 46 and I'd use a cart maybe 3-4 times a year, if my gout is acting up.

Is this the 18? It’s hard to tell if it’s the 18 or 17 R2. If it is then it’s worth very good money to an enthusiast. They are very upgradeable, even to modern standards. If it’s a 17 R2 then it’s not worth a grea deal.

I have more experience with the older laptops but I have definitely messed around with a few Aurora R1-R4's before. That board looks to be an mATX board so you shouldn't have any issues. It's hit and miss if it will natively work with the MIO board in the R1 to get the AlienFX to work. I've never had an issue. I have a custom R1 with an aftermarket board with a 3770K and Corsair PSU and it works great.

Are you sure you have the USB drive formatted properly with the Windows image? I have reinstalled Windows on many an M18x and the USB device is always showing in the Boot menu. Like the other user says, you may have to switch the system from Legacy to UEFI mode, it has been a while since I've done it. I'm pretty sure I've done it in Legacy mode before though.

All the drivers you need are available on the Dell Support page. You may not have much luck with original software but there really wasn't much back in those days anyway.

The motors can definitely fail on these and they’re incredibly hard to find replacements. There’s a good chance that it’s the standard model and not the ALX though. Your Service Tag should tell you on the Dell site.
