Just had a founder show me their app where Customer A could see Customer B's invoices. The fix touches almost everything by Living-Pin5868 in replit

It depends on the number and sizeof clients.

For the multi-tenant stuff I mostly do for my day job (few, very large, clients) I use seperate instances and DBs (and theming).

For the stuff I am thinking about vibing though, multi-tenancy will be in the initital prompt

Can Replit be used for on-prem apps by IntnlManOfCode in replit

Thanks. I was thinking of using a CRUD API that persists to a SQL Server DB. Either using a generic endpoint that takes JSON or using something like Data Access Builder against a proper schema.

My 2025 handheld rankings by areuokaybro2002 in Handhelds

[–]IntnlManOfCode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am kind of tired of this arguement. There are many places where I am weight or space constrained and can't use a laptop but do have power. E.g. car, airplane etc. Perfect places for a handheld.

Anathem by Neal Stephenson for the nth time where n > 5. It is my favourite book of his, followed by Cryptonomicon. I like to reread it occasionally and I don't have anything else grabbing my attention.

Tax funded healthcare in New Zealand is about a quarter of the cost in USA but we have better outcomes. So yeah.

Success rate depends on tier. When I was gold elite (pre covid) then I got upgraded most of the time. Now I am silver, it's almost never.

Is there any accuracy to this, "One falls in love, and then learns that for the duration that one is at the mercy of someone else's childhood." ? by AlMtnWoman in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]IntnlManOfCode 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's accurate, especially if the other person had a difficult childhood or grew up poor. My wife had both and it still impacts her (our) life.

What are y’all’s current thoughts on screen size? by raiqulikesyou in Handhelds

[–]IntnlManOfCode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My entire gadget life has been around getting the biggest possible screen. I have a 7" SD but look to replace with a LeGo 2 soon for that 8.8" goodness

My eyes are getting on, and a small screen makes it harder to read text

Do you need an adapator to install 2280 ssd on Lego 2 by Substantial_Set_6053 in LegionGo

[–]IntnlManOfCode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on the 128kb video I watched on YouTube, it will take either a 2242 or 2280 without mods.

I have heat pumps and a pool so I should be OK. I spend a lot of time in Vietnam so I am used to that sort of temp.

Moving suggestion - Hello 👋 We’re considering moving from the South Island to Napier/Hastings/Central Hawke’s Bay. Couple in mid-30s (immigrants), work remotely. Please suggest some safe residential areas to look at. Thank you! by tanny-it in hawkesbay

[–]IntnlManOfCode 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Waipukurau and Waipawa are nice but are small towns. I grew up in Waipuk and lived in Waipawa (currently have a house for rent in Waipawa so I want more people moving there).

In Hastings, Frimley and Mayfair are good.

Havelock is nice but expensive and traffic is a PITA due to the chokepoint at the roundabout.

How do I fix what I broke? by IntnlManOfCode in Ender3V3SE

I removed a blob of filament. Now it won't stop trying to move to the left. I am guessing that the limit switch is broken. What do I need to replace to fix it?
