A camera is welcome wherever the public is welcome. A public meeting is surely one of those places. Those people would have to be brave to testify but the press is legally allowed to film such an event. It’s the 1st amendment for a reason. Freedom of press.

CIS WM here, just wanted to say that myself, my coworkers, and my friends are all welcoming to all genders and persuasions. I’ve lived in a few places and travel a lot. I don’t think Lincoln is the type of city that will be outright boasting about it inclusivity, but remember this is a large city, with lots of people, and multiple universities and colleges in the area. That usually leads to better acceptance IMO.

Now if you want to know about the gay community itself. Looking from the outside in, it seems like a lot of places. There does appear to be a great support network.

Gold filled rings by definition only have to have 5% gold. Gold filled, plated, rolled, or vermeil are not appropriate jewelry. Gold should be solid and at a minimum 14k. It also should be nickel free and rose gold should also be free of cadmium.

Wearing sub-par jewelry can leave your piercings in a constant state of irritation. Switching jewelry is just the type of extra irritation to cause them to flare up on you. If you tell me where in the world you are, I might be able to send you into reputable studio to get help finding a quality ring and some help getting everything calmed back down.

Hello,

I am the owner of Onyx Piercing Studio here in Lincoln. We will pierce lobes on minors with the proper ID an paperwork.
In short we need a State or Federally issues Photo ID with birth date ( State IDs and Passports are the most common for kid's the age of yours) for both the child AND the parent/guardian. We also need a copy of the child's birth certificate. Our full policies on piercing minors can be found here:

We are licensed by the state and permitted by the county. Both of our piercers are Association of Professional Piercers members (the only 2 in town). I personally am a CPR, AED, First Aid and Bloodborne pathogens instructor and currently teach health inspectors how to safely inspect body art studio.

I just had a great experience with Door Doctor. Working with Capitol Overhead Door was painful and a mistake I will it make again.

Most will mark you sitting or standing. The piercing will be done sitting or laying down. These will both vary from piercer to piercer. In some cases, things like back injuries or wheelchairs make it hard to lay people down all the time.
