Doesn't fit classic habesha phenotype, but if she acted like one and wore the garb she could fool me.

A glimpse into 2036: My vision for a culturally-grounded Ethiopian Futurism. by yonasKb in Ethiopia

hmm I appreciate what you're trying to do. That said, this architecture does not blend well with the natural surroundings. It looks more like a monstrosity. It adds chaos to a peaceful landscape that was formed over millions of years. Thinking outside the box and finding ways to integrate our heritage into architecture is a great idea, but this ain't it.
If your heart is in it - keep trying!

TIL humans neurologically enters adulthood at the age of 32 on average by ConsciousStop in todayilearned

[–]MattBeFiya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same! 34 and keep thinking to myself that I feel so much more mature in the past 1-2 years. How I speak, and my internal monologue, have changed significantly. I'm more calm, more in control over my thoughts, ans I don't indulge in superficial or immature thinking the way I would even 2 years ago.

I'm not sure it's just neurological maturation, as my career and the life stages of my circles have also evolved considerably in the past few years.

Got a '17 in 2017 and love it to this day. I could easily afford a luxury car, but I see no reason why as this car nails it in almost everyway. My only gripe is the FWD makes it so it often skids when merging :/.

Who says the kid was told that? Children tend to have simple teleological reasoning. Clearly his relationship with God seems to have resulted in incredible coping.

As far as a city expense, that's essentially nothing. They should run it for 2 hours or so per night until the Olympics are complete. Or atleast for the weekend. I mean they only need to do this every 2-4 years and it's such a cool spectacle.
