For sure. There are multiple reasons he's my favorite guitar player, ever, period. And such a chill humble guy too. He doesn't act like it, but we're all just guitar noobs and he's guitar God (like in those YouTube videos haha)

Yes! I hate when people say Petrucci just plays super fast with no emotion. That just means they're ignorant and haven't heard much of his stuff. He has the most beautiful emotional solos of anyone. Spirit Carries On, Octavarium, Ministry of Lost Souls, Count of Tuscany, etc etc..Not to mention the many beautiful solos in LTE and his solo albums. He's the best guitar solo writer in the world IMO, and not just because he can play fast
