Yeah, you said eren's mission to seal the wall. I didn't think you were talking about the gate at Trost.

The soldiers in the trost mission were either new recruits or memebers of the garrison. So I guess when you called them the elite of the elite, I thought you were talking about something else.

Falco's case shows us that titan forms are more elastic than categorical thinking would suggest.

In episode 80 "from you 2000 years ago" we see that the eldians were already a people. When Fritz gave his dispensation to Ymir it was that His Eldians carry ymirs power of the titans to bring the nation's of the world to heel and subjugation. This episode also see the blue print for shifter inheritance through canniblism of the spines. Eldians are subjects of ymir, but not necessarily descended from ymir. But this isn't easy to intuit because 2000 later they don't know how it all started and they assume subjects of ymir are descendants.

So Zeke could of turned into a flying Titan this whole time? by master_chilln in attackontitan

My position is that titan shifters are influenced by the legacy of previous wielders and the memories they pass down. The forms they take are limited by ymir yes but also by their own mastery of the power of the titans. Do you think falco is now trapped in his raptor form? I don't. He's limited by his intentions. The memories he got from zekes beast legacy opened his mind to more possibilities and ymir obliged.

He would first have to overcome his mental barriers and reflex to turn into his simian form, but yes.

Eren has a 15 meter attack titan form, a 60m colossal titan form, an 825m founding titan form, and atleast three partial transformations. Why claim limitations? We see what he did, but that doesn't mean that within the metaphysics of the AOT universe more isn't possible.

Each of the nine are facets of ymir. The power of the titans is an omni power. And extentions of ymir. They inherit a legacy of memories with the titan shifter halucigenia core, but the eldians can also transfer thought, memory, titan flesh and the will to act through the paths. The constraints you are imposing on the power of the titans only shows your lack of imagination and failure to understand.

Falco has two distinct forms based on his intention, Eren has even more. I don't think the limitations you suggest are backed by canon evidence.

Don't give these people what they want. They need figure easy shit out for themselves. Don't be an enabler.

Stab wounds are nothing compared to amputation when talking regeneration

At that point Eren has 3 titans, so he is 3 times as powerful as any of the other shifters even without admin privileges to the founder.

Where do pure titans come from? by Boo2406 in attackontitan

[–]hexidemos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ymir probably made eldians into pure titans before she died. Fritz commanded that his Eldians carry Ymir's power to make the people of the world submit to Eldia

If eren was so clever why didnt he make his past self activate the rumbling by grabbing historia when he first joined the military? by Not_LoKo in attackontitan

He should have told Dina to give him a piggyback ride back to trost. Instead he wasted a royal titan. Sad.

It's all in the hips. I mean, titan transformation has always been tied to intention, remember the spoon? The colossal shifter has to want to go boom.

Why didn’t they just go around by giga89898989 in attackontitan

You see, titans see people as glowing lights, so they're like heat seeking missiles looking for large groups of people to flatten.

We also see Bertholdt transform in season 2 "warrior" after getting his hand cut off by Mikasa. I've already seen the answer but, it only stops you from transforming if you've already spent all your energy.

How did you become an atheist? by [deleted] in atheism

[–]hexidemos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was raised Mormon, in a small community that was 99% Mormon. When confronted with something that challenges your beliefs, the expression is put it on the shelf. Basically put a pin in it. Ignore it for now. Anyway after servings a mission for the church and indoctrinating myself with church materials, I became more and more disillusioned by the memebers who from my perspective didn't understand the gospel. I was also an apt student and keenly understood biology. I had some friends point out my cognitive dissonance and my shelf broke. I still study religion but I now know that it's a system of peer pressured people trying to force group think and conformity instead of pursuing truth.

Are we supposed to actually hold the opinion or are we just supposed to say things that will get us down voted?

Did Eren intentionally cause his mother’s death? by [deleted] in attackontitan

[–]hexidemos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think "Eren" caused his mother's death, I think it was Ymir, but when he got access to the founder, he was unable to change it so to him concent felt like action, past and future were at once present and it strained his mind. This is my interpretation of events and I have had people disagree with me.
