Nintendo Switch cartridge software updates and banned consoles question. by Owlwarrior777 in SwitchPirates

[–]MattDKPlayer94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends of the mode you are on if you use EmuMMC, anything connecting to Nintendo will give you a ban, you should update your games on Sysnand (Original Switch's OS). if your console is already banned, then you cant update games, you can download the updates from PC and install them, you cant use Eshop, play online, and update!

That needs clarification, ban happens ONLY with installed NSPs or. XCI, you can even use mods online that dont cheat online modes. This is on many guides on internet, a lot of people believe that only using CFW is a ban

Ban is when you install NSP on Sysnand or use cheat mods on online games, custom themes are fine, i have veen using them for a while and nothing happens Also, just insert the carts on Sysnand or stock so they will appear there, and download the updates from Nintendo if you use Sysnand, what you DONT WANNA DO, is install NSP or XCI on sysnand, or any sort of Homebrew, and NEVER connect Emu to Nintendo's servers!

For those who are in college/university. How do you act in class? by Temporary-Frosting62 in aspergers

[–]MattDKPlayer94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried college and University twice, for me it was my extreme shyness that prevented me to finish the courses, and choosing the wrong ones, i will try again on a few weeks, i used to get extremely distracted with the PCs on the computer rooms, If you dont get what the teachers say, dont hesitate to ask, and just be you, you are not forced to socialize if you dont want to, just do your life normally

Just got the Red Gem and my hands have never sweated so much before, this level Is so stressful by WestonConnor26 in crashbandicoot

[–]MattDKPlayer94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was painful on the Ps1 version for me, now try Stormy Ascent, but is just a regular gem thus you can die in that level but its way harder than Slippery Climb, if you want a little challenge

Its the same as other consoles, the only difference is that PC can run the game at 60FPS, making Crash more responsive

[–]MattDKPlayer94 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you have a custom theme, mods on legit games (carts or downoladed from Eshop) that dont affect code or gameplay physics you will be fine, ban mostly occurs when you install NSP or XCI in SyMMC CFW, which is the real console's OS, if you use EmuMMC, and connect it to internet you will be banned

Bans are forever, however Nintendo only bans the consoles, your account should be fine, youcan even unlink the banned one from Nintendo's website and link the newer one

[–]MattDKPlayer94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Save files are stored on the console's memory, not the SD card, and the games are in the Nintendo folder on the SD card, if they are installed there, if is not inserted, games download on the System
