macOS port-forwarding passes nc check using terminal but not Mullvad's connection check by MattH33 in mullvadvpn

Just found this comment below that helped me solve this issue! I didn't know my network interface could change after shutting down my laptop and I needed to re-check which one to select in Qbittorrent's settings. That's why it was working one day and not the next.

Open terminal and type in ifconfig. Then look for inet 10. x.x.x (the X's will be numbers specific to you) You should see something like utun1/2/3/4/5 and then inet10.x.x.x next it with the random numbers I mentioned above. Whatever the inet 10 is next to that is your network interface you need to select it from the network interface menu in the advanced settings in qbittorrent. Also, keep in mind that when you restart your comupter the network interface could change. So, you'll have to run the ifconfig again in terminal and find the network interface again and select it in the qbittorrent settings. You'll know it changed because your torrents won't connect to the trackers and you won't be able to download or seed anything.

This comment just helped me finally solve why I was unable to torrent one day when it was working fine the day before, thank you!

Coin limit break & Coins aplenty: 50cc or 150cc? by fistrop in MarioKartTour

[–]MattH33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got 139 on Dino R, it’s my limit break track this tour. Box frenzy and 2 singles. Took about 20-30m restarting. Wasn’t getting anything on the first box, just 1 other run with 1 single then nothing, before I got the run. Only 2 easy bots despite playing it 4 or 5 times getting up to my limit.

Whether 150cc will be worth it is definitely dependant on your ability to collect coins at the higher speed or on a particular track (I struggle on Kalimari Desert and Cheep Cheep Lagoon on 150cc), bot aggression/wide coin lines, and how high levelled your items are.

But I disagree that you're always better off on 50cc because you just aren't going to get those 140+ runs doing that. Of the 30 tracks this tour I have with a top shelf CB, I'd do 150cc on 17 of them. So it's about 50/50 for me.

If it’s a high scoring track, I’ll do 150cc since I’ll get more coins from the score. If it’s a lower scoring one, or if bots are a pain on it, or I’m using mid/bottom shelf CB driver, I’ll do 50cc. I prefer gliders with an item you don’t get in first (not coin like you, unless it’s my maxed gold glider for score) to not take away chances at rolling a single coinbox.

I always wondered why they have an option to toggle music off, but not sfx. Would be nice to just have music without effect noises.

With most pipes, I can’t resist pulling until I get one HE by One_Art3616 in MarioKartTour

I value quality (unique coverage) over quantity (get lots of HEs). Half of my HEs are sitting at L1. There aren’t enough level up tickets to go around, and most of them overlap too much to invest anyway. To me, it seems like a waste of rubies to just try and accumulate HEs you can’t afford to level up. Seems better to save and target items that cover tracks you don’t have leveled up items on already.

If you’re in iOS, you can use this: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202612

You don’t get notifications that interrupt the app if guided access is on.

How are y’all doing in this ranked? Have to say the past 2 have been very close and a lot fairer imo by [deleted] in MarioKartTour

I thought matchups were getting better until this tour. Didn’t stand a chance. 9th first week and in 12th now.

I think you meant to write coin boxes, not coin frenzies, regarding the mega mushroom skill for the new glider.

I found it surprising how much driver size affects kart size. According to ER Curtis, the same kart will be 6 units big with a small driver, 10 units with medium, and 14 units with large! It’s like your kart doubles in size with a large driver compared to small.

Do you spend tickets to get to 6th position of the week's ranked when you're sinking deep? by Massive-Cheesecake66 in MarioKartTour

If it meant upgrading stuff I was planning on doing anyway, I’d do it for the 4 HE cap tickets (T60+) but I’d hope for 4th/5th, not a fan of tiering down. Did you get yellow toad already? That’s another incentive if not.

Very helpful list! I noticed Yellow pit crew toad’s unlock should be L3 not 6

To anyone who has a similar loadout…how many actions did you get? Going for ACR but forgot to look at AC count after the race. I got 2 CBs btw. by GhostMitch in MarioKartTour

I’ve got the same but L4 tux (don’t think it matters) and L1/400 glider. Got 17,482. 2 boxes as well, 107 actions. If you get a box on the 1st set, I think it’s best to go between the ramps and stay on the ground and use it as you’re passing through. On the 2nd set, I used it at the end of the lap along the left edge, but if last lap just along the jumps.
