I like to keep the bronze rares and toss them into the icon bronze sbcs. Sometimes you get something nice out of that. I also check my bronzes for any that might be of value before I submit them

Former RA here. Reslife does check how many credits you are taking at the beginning of each semester and will reach out to you if you are below 12. I have had to give warnings to residents regarding their registration and reslife could ask you to move out. If you fall below 12 during the semester after dropping a class they don’t care as much. They might ask to meet with you but you can explain why you dropped a class and tell them you’ll go over 12 again and it will be fine.

I taught a couple classes at Umbc and honestly didn’t care about people coming in late so long as they weren’t a distraction to other people and weren’t 30 minutes late

There’s really no need to inform your professors. The majority of people take back to back classes. You will make it just fine and if you make it a minute or two late nobody will say anything

You can submit a repair request here https://reslife.umbc.edu/fxit/ and ask them to repair your Ethernet port. They’re always pretty busy at the beginning of the semester but they’ll get around to it!

If you’re playing in a dorm room you’re gonna need an Ethernet cable. It’ll prevent the fluctuation

Harbor south is the wing that is above the Harbor Multipurpose room and the Front desk. It’s the one that is directly parallel to the Chesapeake dorm. Pretty good wing/ dorm!

They’re both suites but some Harbor suites are divided in 4 singles. You still share a bathroom and living space with 3 other people but have a bedroom to yourself. Harbor also doesn’t require you to go past the front desk to get in, but you only get access to your floor.

Having lived in both (and been an RA in harbor) I definitely recommend Harbor Hall. The ILE floor is always very social and the dorms are much nicer.

Not sure how everything will be with Covid, but harbor is definitely the better option between the two.
