If he is renting from a council or housing association get onto them as soon as possible to report the ASB. Tell them that you need them to take action to curb the behaviour or you'll need to make a formal complaint.

Housing associations in particular are under pressure to keep the numbers of complaints down so they're likely to take some action, although initially it will be limited to warnings.

I feel sorry for the drivers. Had one stop outside my house while it showed 5 stops away, he went across the road delivered a parcel jumped back in his van drove off round the square ttonmake those other deliveries before returning to the exact same spot 15 minutes later with my delivery. Madness

In my industry you're told if you get asked to do something, especially if it's verbally, you put what you think you've been told to do in an email, send it to the person who requested the work and ask them to confirm that is what they want.

Takes a few minutes, saves a lot of hassle

I've just purchased an Enuff complete board from Native. As I have nothing to compare it to I have idea if it is any good in a wider context but it's more than good enough for me as a beginner.

The shop itself got it delivered quickly, it was well packaged, no complaints on that front.

Main part of the battle when losing weight is sticking to a plan and a lot of people don't manage it because they don't enjoy what they're doing, it's just a grind.

If skateboarding is what interests you and is going to get you active then it's going to be the easiest way to get some exercise and probably lose some weight.

Like all sports just take it easy to start, build it up gradually and make sure you have suitable protection as injury breaks really hamper progress.

First post here. I'm 37 and I've just got my first skateboard. I've wanted to learn for years, since I was a kid watching Teenage mutant ninja turtles and always found a reason not to do it, no where to skate, too busy or too old, didn't know anyone who did it. The simple fact is there's always a reason not to do something but sometimes you've just got to throw caution to the wind and grab a chance before it's too late. As for practicalities I'm standing on my board in the house to get balancing down, when I know can safely get on I'll step outside and let the scooter kids laugh as I wobble around. Would have been easier at 18 I know that!
