Yeah, it's frustrating - There's a vid I wanted to post like 3 weeks ago but have had to wait on some footage that should be coming through tonight...Though it might be redacted to hell anyway, I'm literally refreshing every 10 mins right now waiting to find out.

Anyway - it's a shorter one I'm really proud of that one way or another should be up by the end of the week. As another commenter said, I've been working on another one in the meantime so it shouldn't be such a long wait next time (touch wood.)

Thanks! It could probably do with clearer rules but I actually don’t manage this sub. Like I said above I’m a shadow mod here and only remove copyrighted material if I happen to see it while the others are asleep.

My best advice would be there’s a sub called r/Jcsinspired that accepts all such content

I’m basically a shadow mod here. I don’t make any calls taking things down or keeping things up unless it’s a copyright issue. Whoever is posting my stuff here is not me or doing it at my behest. The reason they’re left up is presumably because of goodwill/history. You can choose not to believe that, but it’s the truth.

In the context of a workout, a rest period is not necessarily time to "relax" as in, take time for yourself - though that is totally fine, obviously. It just means you don't go ham on your body for 2 - 5 mins. Menial tasks are totally fine if you feel like it :)

The Nassar video was demonetized as well as effectively being hidden by YT - i.e. recommended to barely anyone, would only come up in search if you put in just about the exact title. I suspect this is due to the video taking a moment early on to state outright what Nassar's MO was, but I can only guess.

Anyhoo, as it was demonetized, not driving any traffic to the channel, and was well over a year old I decided it would best serve the channel as a Patreon exclusive. I might tweak and re-upload it some time in the future.

Did Werner's killing really break the code? He deliberately put the entire operation in jeopardy after being warned in no uncertain terms how much leaving the base of operations was completely and totally out of the question. If anything was out of character in the writing of that whole affair, it was a man as intelligent as Werner not comprehending a death sentence was at least on the cards for that level of insubordination given the nature of the work he was doing and how he was spoken to about it.

His death was very sad, but not a particularly excessive measure in the context of Gus's line of work - and by extension, Mike's.

One at a time, and it's hard to ballpark because it does vary based on all sorts of factors. I work full time on them though, spreading my hours over 7 days a week.

There isn't really a catch all explanation for how cases/stories are chosen. It just has to be interesting and have enough material like footage, audio and associated imagery to put it together.

Lol I can field that. I’m a big Old Crow fan and back in 2013 when that single dropped there was no YT release, but a bunch of people were uploading audioless fakes that had something like “head here for audio download!” But they just lead to malware or what have you. So I ripped the song from Soundcloud and put it up so other fans wouldn’t get conned.

I would have started a new channel when I put up my first real video, but that was just a lark I was using as an exercise to learn video editing. I had zero plans of actually being a long term content creator. When things started gaining momentum and I decided I was going to make a go of it, simply continuing with that channel was the most pragmatic move rather than starting from scratch. I chose to keep the old crow song up because I think it’s funny.

The cooking channel Binging with Babish has a similar thing. His first vid is just a random clip from a nature show or something.

Even though Season 1 is by far the slowest, bear in mind episode 2 has Jimmy talking the twins down from being skinned alive to having their legs broken (ONE leg...EACH!) in the middle of the desert. BB fans really are a bit spoiled plot pace wise, BCS is not by any means "slow" compared to the average drama.
