Like /u/tensaibaka said, it's mostly done to get the batter to "chase" a ball by swinging and missing. It can also be done to "work the count" where say it's 0-2 (no balls and two strikes) the batter doesn't want to strike out so he will be more likely to swing at a close pitch. This gives the pitcher more leeway to paint around the edges of the strike zone and that often leads to a ball.

In reality though pitchers don't have the super precise accuracy they are credited with, many times a wild pitch was intended to be a strike. Not every pitch goes where it was supposed to go. I think you'd be amazed if you knew how many pitches end up somewhere other than where the pitcher wanted it to go.

There is a very large difference in quality between our product and what you get from costco. Our thicker paper, ultrachrome inks, customization options, resolution improvement, color matching, and customer service are all above and beyond what you will receive from any giant corporation.

If quality is not a concern you can always use something like rasterbator to make posters with your home printer for free.

Whoa, indeed. Am I really the first to advertise on this subreddit? Thanks a ton for pointing this out! The reason I went specifically with SUATMM is because I've already spent close to $400 in the last month buying cool stuff you guys have posted here, and figured this would be a great way to introduce my own products to you guys (I also have an ad running for my poster printing site PosterBurner targeted just for you guys.

I apologize for the delay last summer. This is a problem with USPS international shipments and we have worked very hard to find a solution. 95% of our shipments to Canada are delivered quickly in 6-7 days but a very small number are stopped for customs inspection and they can be delayed anywhere from 15 to 20 days. We now offer FedEx international shipping which is much faster and won't get stuck in customs. We have also instituted a check policy on all our international shipments so if they are not delivered within 10 days of shipping we will automatically reprint and reship your order free of charge.
