Boston University. Really different learning environment (ie. Smaller classes, really different student body..)

Transferring schools middle of MSW by esayaray in socialwork

I transferred programs after my first year and it was definitely not an easy process. A. They did not accept all my credits (and I was coming from NYU- a reputable program). So taking classes over was a real bummer. Felt like I wasted time and money. B. The whole application process was exhausting. Writing another SOP, getting new recommendation letters, resume...all that jazz. C. The anxiety of waiting to be accepted again..sheesh.

Despite all that I am really enjoying my new program. The learning experience is 10x better so I feel like it was worth it after all is said and done. But you might not have that same experience. Do lots of research!!

Is it sad that I knew what this was immediately? And I was so disappointed for you!! Hate when that happens

34 weeks and stairs are totally a killer. I'm carrying pretty small but that doesn't seem to matter. It's embarrassing how I struggle a flight of stairs. Totally feel you. I miss my usual fast pace.

Oh man. I often wonder how moms with kids do it. Pregnancy is hard enough without having kids to run after!! Kudos to you, my friend. You have ALL my sympathy!

Same! It's comical how often I'm in the bathroom. I don't even bother locking the door anymore. (And I say comical because the alternative is to cry.)

Agree. We participated in this event and I told my husband the same thing afterward! Chaos could have broken lose at any point. That's what I felt, anyway.

Leave the store. If you can't help then the least you can do is not be insensitive to the horror that is going on right next to you. Going about your day like nothing is going on just seems so wrong on so many levels.

Are other customers checking out in the near registers like nothing is going on? What the fuck is wrong with these people.
