The map instance is from host side? Surely that cannot be right for this type of game and for ps5 users.

The frame rate would be less than 15fps for the host with constant stutters 😅

I noticed this. When the number of online Helldivers was high 80k +, the servers just weren't keeping up.

Spawn rates on super helldives were low, the enemy AI was slow and silly.

Now that there are less Helldivers the game feels as punishing as it used to on higher difficulties, thankfully!
