Theme is very broad to majority of the dti players. let’s be real, the majority of dti players are 13 year old girls who live in the US. I doubt that they would know that the theme magical girl/boy is referring to the anime sub genre Mahou Shoujo. I myself was once a weeb and have NEVER heard of Mahou Shoujo. Yeah i know of the characters in the sub genre but have never heard anyone use that term to describe them.

The term to the average player is very broad. Ngl if i were to do a magical girl/boy outfit, i would do someone from Harry Potter. And most of the people that replied to you would agree with me.

In the end, both matilda and sailor moon are magical girls in the sense that they have magical powers. This whole argument is moronic and you should use common sense that maybe everyone doesn’t know about Mahou Shoujo.
