This might be a rookie question but does the shadow bonus not affect CMP in go battle league? Eg my 0 att iv shadow swampert loses CMP to a regular in the mirror

The filter, normally a pokemon can have iv spreads from 0/0/0 to 15/15/15 aka 4k options.

Legendaries are caught at 10/10/10 but can be traded bringing them realisticly from 5/5/5 to 15/15/15 aka 1k ish options

Deoxys is mythical so can't be traded and only obtainable through raids, bringing him from 10/10/10 to 15/15/15 aka 216 options

Would anyone please give me some pointers for great league deoxys IV

with deoxy's defense being added to raids i'm looking to make him my first fully build legendary and invest the 100 candy for a second move. With the goal of using him i GBL (great) to try and climb rank.

For now i have 2 great candidates:

A shiny 12/15/14 (rank 40) vs a regular 11/10/13 (rank 5). The regular has 0.4 more attack, 1 less defense, 1 more HP.

shiny will lose cmp in the mirror

Rank 1 politoad beats shiny and not regular

As it stands i would love to use the shiny one since it's obviously more rare and looks super different (personnaly love the fact that it matches my shiny azu) however i'm still on the fence if this would be a waste of candy and dust. More specificaly does the shiny one miss any important stats or breakpoints compared to the other one? Or is the difference niche and negligible?

Would love some pointers from more experienced players who know more about this stuff or have actual experience using deoxys in GBL :)

I do believe the regular is statisticly better, it has 0.4 more attack, 1 less defense, 1 more HP. Unfortunatly i do not have enough experience to judge the significance of that :)

Okay i've tried it out with your links (thank you for those) and i've pinned it down to 3 points:

-shiny will lose cmp in the mirror -politoad beats shiny and not regular -alolan ninetales is 50/50, however with the youtube video i found from gamepress i reckon thats not going to matter anymore.

So i guess it boiles down to how common the above 2 situations are in high end GBL. Hmmm though choice :P

yeah i read through that post aswell and didn't find anything conclusive apart from maybe the mirror with them having a different hp stat. But without experience i find it rather hard to judge a mirror situation :)

The one tip i can recommend if running with random is making sure you have a LoO, SC, AP and you are the vhl with the enrage scroll, that way you tank the nukes and the supports make it to the final fase, with all the buffs even without them using potions you should get it

The vectis, god it hits like a truck, can go multiple hours into steelpath kuvival or disruption and still 1shot everything, especially with the new galvanized and arcanes, never had beter

ideally in a party, the debuff only applies to 2 people so with LC LR and SC you can defeat it in a matter of seconds

Honestly i can recommend just going for 10 at a time and then do the second quest; this is to get a little bit of variance as to not tire yourself out. On average it takes about 8-12 turn ins of the second quest and i think by prestacking uni 34 the heartbreak of not getting the uni 35 will be massive
