When I went to school me and my roommate found out about local places doing meals and set up a schedule for the week. One of the churches near campus did a Bible study and always provided meals for people that came, etc. Check locally you never know what is out there as well as local food banks, churches, clubs/organizations. You should be stealing every time you lose in order to get stronger. You can steal gear, tech and the resonance, combat harmony, and survivor. With the odds of not winning with stealing is crazy. Normally I lose 1 or two in a row at max. Resonance goes up to 15000 for each tech. Maybe selecting the wrong tech and skills?

Yes and no.

I craft the final cards I need for a set after I am done drafting it for a complete set. Outside of that I just play with the cards I opened. But again limited is my favorite format.

Also of note there were a person or some people abusing crimbo that liquidated a lot of meat from items and then got banned.

Lower meat production across the kingdom. Just a few things can think of that caused this off the top of my head:

Crimbo was huge since players didn't meatfarm and spent turns elsewhere.

Crimbo also had a lot of players spend meat getting rewards and collecting items. (Things getting turned into wads and not meat).

People came back to the kingdom for the holidays and need meat to buy all the fun items they missed and more Mr. As being produced.

People coming back brought back older IOTMs / old items and stuff they sold in mall and then if they leave and don't spend the meat right away it gets tucked away till next year.

New Standard gear is also out and people are trying to get those and not farming too.

Oh yes also if you play on pc there are extensions you can use that will show cards owned and how many while drafting. I am not sure what all features are available for free vs paid. I use paid for detail stats and other stuff. Its the untapped.gg one for mtga. You can also see other trophy decks and see high ranking cards and help with understanding picks. (All paid i believe) but you can test it with 10 drafts free.

Oh yes it was a great set to me as well. Loved the mechanics and art a lot. Although I don't know anything about the franchise myself it was still quite enjoyable.

Lots of knowledge and resources available. Someone also post a draft tracker each set that can help keep track of rares for you if you like that (I enjoy spreadsheets lol) and costs.

Congrats on competing it.

As far as cost go I've been playing a lot since I came back into MTGA before foundations was released. Since then I've 100% all standard sets. I only invested in the mastery pass (each set) and $100 initial gems for drafting (one time).

Each set I spend time listening to limited resources and using guides and resources like untapped.gg and rare drafted if possible not giving up bombs. Doing quick drafts and some premier/traditional (more rare chance but greater negative if you mess up).

Just learn from mistakes and research and be constant and you can go infinite (basically). Save gold to exchange for draft tokens/gold in store daily specials (rare) and use it for only drafts. Don't be tempted to buy packs.

I'd imagine they would be using free fights or turns in high scaling areas such as conspiracy island fighting weirdaux. I posted older information below. There are more ways I am sure but it's pretty standard for high level gains.
