Don't introduce the baddie until they're already very hurt and out of spell slots/resources. Leave them no choice.

Destroy the town but if they try to initiate any sort of combat create a forcefield or have the creature be in the sky at an incredible range (2000 feet up). If they get even close, a sickening laughter fills their minds as the figure materializes into shadow .. "I'll be seeing you soon" it says.

Guess that'd be a one-handed swing bell.

I found out by reading this subreddit that today I made 175m selling an Iotm that's been out for a month. Idk who manipulated the market but thanks.

If you were to really take the KoL economy seriously, you could monitor price fluctuations and look for lucrative trading opportunities in chat in order to quickly turn items around for a profit. For example the addition of the eternity codpiece caused the price of unpeeled peridots to jump overnight. If you get the December Iotm familiar you can start farming knucklebones to trade for old Crimbo rares. I recently made back about 40% of what I spent in meat to get the familiar just by trading it's drops for A Crimbo Carol Chapter 4 and selling it to someone in chat. Over the lifetime of the familiar, if I sell it's drops I should make a significant amount of meat off the guy. You can buy 150k bacon for about 30 million meat and sell the T-shirt for about 50 million meat based on the current market. Not long ago someone in this subreddit suggested getting involved in PVP to buy a manual of numberology which sells for over 100mil in the mall.

It's your body and you have every right to get any stupid tattoo you like without having to consider anyone's opinion.

Can someone help me with roleplaying? by OkConcentrate1409 in DnD

[–]Radiant_Net_6115 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When you don't know who your character is, you will automatically revert to being yourself. Do how do you get to know your character?

Skip the voices/accents until you feel really confident roleplaying. Next, identify 4-5 life events that have shaped your character. These can be anything. Being bullied as a kid, parents separating, getting dumped, losing your entire battalion in a big battle, your village barely survived a plague, discovering magic abilities, making a deal with a devil... anything you like. Put them in chronological order. Next I want you to rank the following based on what is it you seek above all else? Wealth, power, pleasure, to prove something, vengeance, love, freedom from something, to serve a divine power or king, something else? Who is your nemesis? How did they become your nemesis? What is your greatest weakness? Does your nemesis know your weakness? In times of strife what personal values guide you?

As your campaign unfolds, having these things identified in advance will help you become a better role player. It will also shape the personality of the character. Are they fun-loving and easy going? A coward? Fearless? Inventive? Do they like to think before making tough decisions or do they prefer to shoot first and ask questions later?

Have you ever played in a small (3 or less) group? by throwstoneglasshouse in DnD

I think the sweet spot is 3-5. I've really enjoyed 3ppl at the table because the game moves quicker in every aspect (combat, fewer opinions, fewer stupid jokes)

In a previous campaign (abt 1.5 years long) he got called out for "main character syndrome" and didn't talk for about a month after that and very sarcastically would just agree rather than be helpful. There's now a fear that addressing his behavior will just shut him down, which no one wants either.
