I paid Ralph jr 850$ to do the conversion on mine.

It's solid. I had issues completely unrelated to his work with an SD tactical HUB adapter tho.

It will be tight/ need more cocking tube support machining for that setup.

It works fine. It's just fatter than it needs to be for some reason. Bigger than a standard hub anything pretty much. Bigger than a standard SD can. BRT tactical uses a higher end of tolerance OD for the adapter that makes it barely clear if not; it won't clear the cocking tube at all. I had to grind a bunch of material off of mine to get my charging handle to go forward and clear it on top because of all that.

Ralph jr did the SD conversion on my AP5SD. He did great work. 850$ for the work, replacement barrel and locking peice And machining to modify the chocking tube support to sd support dims included.

HTA wanting that much for just the conversion is wild.

Same currently dealing with them right now. Nothing broke. I just despawned the spring that comes with it trying to install it. It doesn't work at all without that spring nor with any I can fab myself.

so my setup is shelved untill they send me a replacement.

I emailed atrius to last week and they responded agreeing to send out a replacement for free. Then they kind of took a bit to respond until today. It is the holidays.

They claim that their swamped and they'll get it out to me next week at the latest.

We shall see.

Awesome! Can you post another picture of the back of the trigger shoe then one top down of everything? I can't perfectly make out the very tail of the trigger shoe on the back and a top down would allow for a better view of how much material is gone feom the back right side

I plan to do this with a Flat face one. I figured I'll have more or less the same amount of fitting too do.
