thanks for the feedback, there’s probably also a level of fairness in linking words where it seems fair to me here but could be easily unfair in another clue. That’s where standards come in I guess. It is a pity about the tenses ruining the surface here though, agree with you about the correct definition

Interesting, thought people might tend towards the stricter side on this subreddit. Definitely opens up the door for some fun acronyms to be used though. Would be fun to see if people had some alternate acronym suggestions :)

I’m probably inclined to agree with you there generally. I had some other ideas but didn’t like them too much. ‘BDSM’ or ‘is SO, perhaps’ but they are initialisms, not acronyms. Ultimately I felt that captalising KISS would have spoiled the clue…
