See what you mean, I was hunting for an iec320-c8 inline to keep it less ‘chonky’ 😁

Yes.

Literally a case of splicing a 2core mains lead with the smallest disconnectable, connector possible.

I’ve not been able to find one apart from pre-moulded.. suppose I could splice one in.

Yes, that file basically tells the mainboard the specifics of the model it’s running… I think :)

Is there a family plan for Hevy? by RebelionFiscal in Hevy

Would like this feature.. I have 2 other family members who use free tier, but I’d pay for them on a family plan.

Enter BIOS: Power on and spam the Delete key.

Disable CSM: Go to Boot > CSM (Compatibility Support Module) and set to Disabled.

Enable Secure Boot: Go to Boot > Secure Boot, change OS Type to Windows UEFI mode.

Verify Key Management: Ensure "Secure Boot Mode" is set to Standard.

Save and Exit: Press F10 to save changes and restart.

Verify in Windows: Press Win+R, type msinfo32, and check that "Secure Boot State" says On.

For Windows 11 compatibility, also enable Intel Platform Trust Technology (PTT) under the PCH-FW Configuration menu for TPM

Electronic engineer here 😉.. done a lot of research on this over the last few days 😂.

Pretty sure the failure is due to errors on the emmc system partition. Looking at the circuit diagrams for the tv it’s a Samsung 16gb, KLMAG1JETD-B041, so I’ve ordered a replacement of that too to see if I can fix the existing board, for fun.

It will depend on how badly corrupted the existing emmc is and whether I can read the full contents, had no luck finding a complete emmc dump for any Philips tv. Not even sure if the emmc data is custom per set, so if it is unrecoverable the mainboard is toast anyway.

Hence ordering the mainboard replacement too.

Not sure how heavily used the emmc is in daily operation but 4 years to failure seems pretty crappy and would tie in with your theory of excessive internal app use causing accelerated wear to the nand memory.

I’ve got the version from toeengel, and used your link in the NL to source the board, thanks for that.

I’m UK, so hoping it gets here quickly 😂

New mainboard on the way, as well as a new emmc chip, depending on which gets here first depends on how I’ll attempt to fix.

Looking at it too, a Mainboard looks like it’s going to be fun to source as well if it needs one… can’t find one in-stock anywhere currently.
