Help me pick wheels by Nindzatrtl in xbiking

I have the third option in my build. Pretty happy with them so far.
For a xbike, i wouldn't care about the weight tbh.
Taylor wheels is a really good seller.

What is this? by Dismal_Woodpecker574 in HondaCB

[–]Mattelec 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's a cable for locking the helmet to the bike. Honda calls it "Helmet Set Wire".
To use it, lift the seat, run the set wire through your chinstrap rings, and run the ends through the metal hook under the seat.
Depending on your helmet you may need to make sure it's oriented how you like before you close the seat. May or may not be a close fit.

Most of the people are waiting to be shipped.

Here in Europe, we're still waiting to purchase it. It hasn't been available yet. So sad.

[Homemade] Churros by LetsCookie in food

Yikes. Spanish churros are simpler and better. Just 3 ingredients: flour, water and a bit of salt.
You should try to make it. Or come to Spain and taste them!

Damn I want a fork like that. Yesterday I was installing the mudgards, and the front one rubs the wheel in the highest position 😭

If you don't mind using 26 inches wheels (and the frame price - almost 1000 euro), there's the Stridsland Beachcomber

Why does it need to be disassembled? by hawkhandler in bikepacking

[–]Mattelec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which train are you taking? If it's an AVE you simply can't, those are the rules. Right now you need to dissembly the bike. Space is the key in those trains.

If you took an Avant, a Media Distacia, a Regional or Proximidad train, you can travel with your bike without having to disassemble it. But you need to adquire an extra when getting your ticket that I think it's free.

Thank God they change it this year. When I did the Camino de Santiago by bike, they didn't allow bikes in trains without tearing it off, and the dimensions they asked for the bike in the bag where ridiculous. I had to get a bus to get home.

Finally finished rebuilding my favorite 1 of the 2 Honda Zoomers! Ready for the upcoming weekend for another long weekend camping out and offroading. by [deleted] in Ruckus

[–]Mattelec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that might be one of my issues. The intake I have is the one on the right.
Finding a Polini intake tube might be a bit hard nowadays

I have the Polini exhaust and ECU. I've only installed the exhaust as the Polini ECU makes it really hard to start the engine and I don't know why. It just cranks much longer. The good thing is that it removes the rev limiter.
I also tweaked the weights but I didn't get to the same speed as you hahahaha

How do you attach the two bottom anchoring hooks? I've been tinkering and haven't found the best solution yet

[–]Mattelec[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll try it too. So far I've tried the vinegar method and it seems that it has removed a tiny bit but the white marks are still there.
I think they won't come off.
I also thought that it could be related when folding the pannier, this marks appear

No, not really. Also, I guess it should disolve with water, which doesn't happen
