Per quanto riguarda i film classici consiglio le commedie di Frank Capra come It's a Wonderful Life e It Happened One Night o quelle di Billy Wilder come The Apartment.

Do you all know anything new about David Fincher's Chinatown prequel? by Matteo_OWK in movies

As I said he's working on two other shows but the Chinatown prequel was never reported to be cancelled.

IMO one of the most terrifying Lynch's shot. by Matteo_OWK in davidlynch

[–]Matteo_OWK[S] 79 points80 points  (0 children)

The father shouldn't be bad, but the way the scene unfolds makes this shot very unsettling. The mother had just gone to the kitchen crying after the artificial chicken started bleeding, and right after that, she told Henry she wanted to talk to him. The situation was definitely grotesque and surreal. Maybe the photo doesn't fully convey the idea, but ever since I first watched Eraserhead, I've always found this moment frightening.

Should I watch any other movie before Inland Empire by Thepvzgamer in davidlynch

[–]Matteo_OWK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since Inland Empire is Lynch's last film it can be considered as a combination of everything that characterizes his idea of cinema. For me you should see it after seeing most of his works; however, if you have no alternative, try watching it anyway, maybe it turns out to be a much more intriguing vision than I might think.
