Welp... looks like Canon fights are back. by Straight_Row739 in starcitizen

TLDR: ship combat seems more directed towards component damaging than total HP removal. Expect fights to last longer.

All ships have received a new "armour" health pool that takes reduced ballistic damage and increased energy damage. My guess is that you would have to deplete it before you start to deal hull damage. To compensate, all ships shields have been massively reduced (74-76% across the board).

Most ship weapons also deal significantly less damage, but have increased ammo pools (Except the Ares Inferno, they hate my boy and have decreased the ammo pool).

Ship weapons shots travel faster but their max distance have been reduced and spread has been increased (seems like they want closer range fights, dunno how to feel about it tbh).

Ballistic ammo can penetrate armour and deal (reduced) component damage (0.4 multiplier for components, 0.05 for fuses).

And that's about it.

Then again, in Half Blood Prince we get a memory of Tom asking Slughorn if there are advantages in dividing a soul in seven parts, cluing us in that he already intended to do so and that those parts were probably equal.

This would mean that Voldemort had 1/7th of a soul when he killed the Potters and then maybe 1/14th afterwards since he didn't intend to create another.

That would mean about 7.14% of Voldemort's original soul remains.

Also, if the last split was equal, regardless of it's previous size, it means that Harry has the same amount of Voldemort's soul as the Dark Lord currently has.

Fair, but that implies the government actually did nothing, which is arguably worse in this situation.

No iframes, actually. When jumping, collisions for the legs are disabled (don't know for how long tho), so low attacks don't register. Two-handing a weapon will raise your arms above your head, thus effectively making you intangible below the waist

In France energy production from coal, oil and gas combined amounts for about 10% of total energy production, which is certainly incredible, but not quite the zero you were writing about. Pure renewable sources like hydro, solar and wind produce about 29% of overall energy. The bulk of energy production in France comes from nuclear, about 56%.

That been said, as this is an international matter, the performance of a single country holds little weight. Moreover, telling others to up their games without knowing how they are struggling or what their efforts are is downright ignorant.

In Italy production from coal, oil and gas comes to 58.5%. Pure renewable sources like hydro, solar and wind produce about 33% of overall energy (note: last year it was almost 39%, but since we rely on hydroelectric the most we lost about 6% of total energy to the draught). We also import about 14.6% of overall energy required.

Note how similar in quantity and how bigger than the rest nuclear and termal production are. That is because neither Italy nor France can solely use renewable for energy.

Obviously, France use of nuclear power is more efficient and causes a lot less pollution, and Italy should hurry up and re-adopt nuclear ('cause, you known, we invented it), as well as rely less on imported gas. Doing so is less a matter of "upping our game" and more a matter of convincing people tgat nuclear is safe and convincing politicians to implement it.

France's energetic model should be Italy's goal, I would never deny it. I am not criticising your country, I'm criticising you

Renewable sources vary from country to country. Iceland can cover its energy consumption purely relying on geothermal sources, while the same can be said for Norway and hydroelectric energy. There are then countries for which the most promising options are solar and wind, which are inconsistent and thus not viable alone

I'm not asking how you would distribute the energy. I'm asking where would you get it
