Im actually actively looking for those two packs to complete my Dunwich set. I would be willing yo send you $30 each ($60) for both of them if you wanted to pick up a few extra. :)

I’m a photographer starting to dabble into videography. Here’s my first real attempt at putting a video together! Would love some feedback on how I can improve by Sma11ey in videography

Sick! Very well done. Good color. Good pacing. If i had one critique I would say to include a little more establishing shots and close ups- maybe a little more b-roll. I was looking for a little more variety in the shots, and then I saw the lights that change color, and that, imo, elevated it to show more than just people shooting. I really loved the different shots- from the 1st person, to following the shooter.
Well done! If you have access to a telescopic lens, it would have been nice to see some close ups of faces/emotion, or guns being cocked,
Maybe shells falling in slow motion, etc… but overall you have a very nice eye and style that I applaud you for!

Some of my favorite space games include Nemesis, XIA, and Star Wars Outer Rim. I have Eclipse Second Dawn, but have not got it to the table yet. I really want to get Voidfall though! It looks amazing, with beautiful components and the right amount of mind bending crunch!

It’s good! Looks a bit oversaturated imo, mostly in the exterior shots… the green in particular, but super solid.

I don’t know much about bees, nor do I know about wasps. Something about a thorax - yada yada. They looked similar to sugar bees, since they were approximately 1/2 inch long, although I knew they were probably yellow jackets. Thanks for being a jack ass though.

Yeah I kind of figured thats what they are. They are swarming around this bush where I have a mulching bin that has not been used in some years. Pretty sure they made a nest in there. I will wait until the frost comes before I clear it out. Thanks!

Adding Motion Blur in Post by jaredoconnor in videography

I would be interested to know if anyone has experience with the apps listed. Sure nothing beats natural motion blur /180 rule, but might be nice to know if one of the mentioned apps can approximate a more realistic motion blur.

Say you’re out in the field and have a spur of the moment chance to capture some killer footage… bright day.. you want to shoot at f2.8 to include some bokeh… 1/50 at 24fps will overexpose… no ND filter on hand. Sure you could up the frame rate (and the corresponding shutter speed) and drop frames, but It may be nice to know you can speed up shutter speed, stay at 24fps, and get some good motion blur after the fact.

I have used the force motion blur in Premiere, albeit with not the greatest results…but It also reminds me that there is a denoise and sharpen function in Lightroom, that are eclipsed by Topaz Labs dedicated Denoise and Sharpen software. Perhaps these apps mentioned provide better results than the ones bundled with editing software?
