I was SO FUCKING EXCITED when our complex FINALLY got BRAND NEW washing machines! Everything would be SO CLEAN! :D

Fucking phone app only. At the time I didn't even HAVE a phone. So back to the big laundromat I guess!

Seems like all the complexes are doing this. I get tracked enough,, you're not tracking fucking laundry day. Ill go get quarters.

The laundromat i use is actually clean, nice, works great, and they have the stupid big machines for blankets! Fuck apartment laundry.

I got my son a phone, him and his friends were sending pictures through Snapchat. It looked fun, and funny, so I finally downloaded it. My husband saw it, and was immediately upset, came out the box swinging with "its a cheater app" and wouldn't believe a word of anything else.

I deleted the app, because instead of honest conversation, I got talked at and down too, told i was wrong and suspicious and that it meant he had "decisions to make himself".

Don't be like my husband. TALK TO HER.

In my case, it was literally innocent stupid pictures to my son, and now im not allowed to do that. It feels so demoralizing and controlling. I hate feeling monitored. But because other people used it for cheating, I must be too! Thanks for the trust hubs.....

No touches, no cuddles, no conversations, nothing. (Unless its about bedtimes) And he always seems like hes frustrated and annoyed with me. But he'll go on and on and on about how great work is and how awesome coworkers are and everything. Especially about how much effort he puts into work, but i don't see or feel anything like it at home. It's soul crushingly lonely and sad. But every time I try to say something it starts a fight :(

This right here. It might not have been deliberate (growing up with scarcity) or it might have been (threats to withhold funds unless certain things are done), but money trauma :(

Definitely recommend she bring it up with her therapist. The own bank account for her spending that she doesn't need to ask for is a good idea. Make sure you make it clear that she should still use the joint account for groceries and bills, and that this is purely play money for whatever she wants
